Make a different fight against AIDS
We have reflected and concluded—for now—that the fight against AIDS has failed and that it is necessary to call for a new social pact for a new fight. Here we promote methods for the construction of collective and transformative solutions to emerging phenomena faced by societies, communities and individuals marginalized from historically hegemonic biomedical discourses and that have brought us to the need to propose a counternarrative and decolonial spirit to challenge the structures of power that perpetuate inequalities and exclusions in chronic and complex diseases. In this sense, we seek to promote alternatives that give voice to those marginalized and silenced, recognizing the diversity of knowledge and cultures necessary to achieve success in a new fight against AIDS and other emerging diseases.
Our contribution to society and people
Legal help for those who face barriers due to their diagnosis
Emotional help for those who feel they cannot cope with their problems
Care support in critical phases of hospital treatment
Intervention in communities and prioritized populations in knowledge transfer programs
Tomorrow is taking its seat and calls for quick decisions to confront AIDS.
We believe in remote volunteering we created Volunterian
SIdarte Volunteer seeks to unite people from all corners of the planet through e-volunteering and e-research on a technological platform. Its goal is to promote social justice, universal respect for human dignity, and apply scientific advances to help those who need it most. Immersing yourself in this work means contributing your grain of sand in the fight against chronic diseases in an innovative way, giving you the opportunity to make a difference!
We understand volunteering as a solidarity action that aims to improve the quality of life of people and society in general. For this reason, we have created a virtual platform that allows people from different parts of the world to join our work, regardless of their geographical location.
our mission to achieve
social justice through our model
We explore the social needs of those who have been historically excluded
We do intuitive e-research with innovative methods
We generate ideas to improve the world.
We put ideas at the service of communities and people through our e-volunteer programs
We open the doors to knowledge for everyone
Open access to knowledge is essential for the progress of society as a whole. By freely sharing information and resources, we are promoting equal opportunity and collective growth. Cognitive justice implies that everyone has the opportunity to learn and contribute to knowledge, without barriers or discrimination. This vision of common well-being drives us to achieve a more inclusive and equitable future.

Our commitment is to promote an environment of equal opportunities and non-discrimination in all areas of our institution. We value diversity and inclusion, and base our admissions, career and employment decisions solely on individual merits and abilities. We proactively seek to attract diverse talent to enrich our human and professional team. At Sidarte, we follow affirmative action policies to promote equal opportunities for women, members of minority groups, people with disabilities, and other protected groups, under the laws of Colombia, Mexico, and the United States of North America. We rigorously comply with Sidarte's Anti-Discrimination Policy, ensuring that no one is discriminated against based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, age or disability in our interactions with the community.
